"PROPOSITION ONE (Initiative)" of 1999
to create the
Forested Watershed Protection Program
wanted by almost half the People of Bellingham
who actually voted on it,
for protection of Lake Whatcom
will not become law this year.

FINAL results: YES 8,232 [ 49.32% ] {42%}
(a difference of only 226!) NO 8,458 [ 50.68% ] {44%}
2,791 City of B'ham voters who voted for Mayor, didn't punch either! no vote [2,791] [ --- ] {14%}
City B'ham totals: Nov 17th: 19,481 [ 100.0% ] {100.0%}
